Lauren feels privileged to have been brought up in a Christian family and began to follow Jesus at a young age.
Lauren is a rural girl who was brought up in Burton in Lonsdale but now lives in Grayrigg with her sister, Naomi and their two pets, a dog called Devon and a cat named Pepe. Lauren attended Newton Rigg College after school to study agriculture and then worked within the animal feeds industry.
Whilst doing the first year of the North West Partnership Training Course, Lauren decided to go for further studying in theology. She completed her degree over four years at Edinburgh Theological Seminary and is now the Ministry Assistant here at Parr Street.
Lauren enjoys joking around, reading, watching period dramas, walking in the hills or doing anything that involves getting her hands dirty.
